Year-end close & 1099-NEC
Close the year with your books in order and your subs' 1099s sent on time.
This is for you if…
- You paid subs or independent workers during the year.
- Every January your tax preparer asks for your numbers and it's always a rush.
- You're not sure who gets a 1099 and who doesn't.
What you get
- Your books closed and squared up at December 31, retainage included.
- How much each job made you during the year.
- Your subs' 1099-NECs sent by January 31. I request any missing W-9s myself.
- An organized package for your tax preparer (or for me, if I also do your taxes).
How we get started
- 1. 15-minute call. You tell me how you handle your numbers today and what worries you.
- 2. Written proposal. What's included, when we start and the price, before you commit.
- 3. I take it from there. You stay on your jobs; I keep the numbers and explain what they say.
Common question
When should we start?
The sooner, the better: 1099-NECs are due January 31, and missing W-9s are what takes the longest.
How we work
- You work directly with me: you message me and I'm the one who answers.
- Before we start, we sign a written agreement with what's included and the price.
- You give me user access to your QuickBooks. You never give me your password.
- You send me documents through a secure link, never by email or WhatsApp.
- In Spanish or English, whichever you prefer.
